Today at St John Fisher we had our Pantomine which all the children and staff really enjoyed. This year, we watched Robin Hood.
We also had some great staff participation
The nursery children have been building homes for woodland animals and the nursery teddy. We had a problem, " how can we keep teddy warm when he is in his den?" We placed a bottle of warm water in teddy's den and covered it with hay . We then placed one outside . Teddy was nice and cosy...
Year 2 really enjoyed learning about the Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead. Dia de Muertos!
We watched a video that helped us learn more about it. Then we made these wonderful masks before going into the disco!
We had lots of fun looking at the properties of materials. The challenge was to make the tallest tower using only spaghetti and marshmallows. The winning team worked really well together, as that week Mr Bardsley's word of the week was Teamwork!
The spaghetti is hard, breakable and thin.
The marshmallow is soft, sticky and stretchy.
Have a look what...
