School has reached Floor Standard

In 2017, a school will be above the floor if at least 65 per cent of pupils meet the expected standard in reading, writing and maths at key stage 2, or if it achieves “sufficient progress scores” in all three subjects.

This year, the required progress scores  are -5 in reading-5 in maths and -7 in writing.

The floor standard is the minimum standard for pupil attainment and progress that the government expects schools to meet, and schools need to meet either the attainment element or all three of the progress elements.

4. Parent View

What is Parent View?

Parent View is an Ofsted service that allows parents to give their views about this school at any time of the year, by completing a simple online questionnaire. At the time of an Ofsted inspection, parents are also invited to give inspectors their views using Parent View.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of school, from the  quality of teaching, to dealing with any issues relating to bullying or  poor behaviour. You are able to highlight the strengths of school also.

SJF Parent View Results

At SJF we strive to ensure that any issues brought to our attention by parents are dealt with swiftly and to the satisfaction of all.
