During their Maths lesson pupils in Apollo class have been investigating fractions. They were asked to work out the fraction of each colour in a Smartie tube. This helps them develop the skill of working out fractions of a number.
Pupils in Apollo class had a mystery to solve during their Science lesson. This half term they are learning all about teeth and eating. They were challenged to investigate who had taken a bite out of Mrs Lancaster's apple. They each had to provide a sample of their unique bite marks and compare the results to solve the mystery.
Year 4 have been looking at the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. This has linked their English lessons with this terms Ancient Greek topic. All the children have worked really hard so far and have enjoyed learning this story.
