Year 4 and 6 have been extremely busy helping to plant our living Christmas Trees. They selected the area, dug the holes and then planted the trees. The trees were then decorated with fat balls and apples to help feed the birds in winter.
Year 1 have been very busy helping to set up our new base camp. The children helped to remove the old seating and then rolled all the new logs down to base camp (That was fun! ) they then carried the blanks for the tops. It was hard work so we had to stop for a hot chocolate break.
To help prepare for Christmas, Year One children helped decorate our class Christmas tree. Before they could place a bauble on the tree they each had to write a prayer asking God to look after someone close to them over the Christmas period.
Reception have been into the forest today collecting leaves and making leaf crown to go with the rhyme "Five little leaves"
