It's that time of year again when the days are getting colder and the Resource Base are off to the Ken Ward Centre for their annual gym slot. It has been made even more exciting this year as we have the privilege of all going together on the school minibus.

Year 3 have been using the glockenspiels to start learning about musical notes and performing basic tunes. They will learn more as the year goes on but have made a great start.
Year 3 had a treasure hunt to find out information about Stonehenge. They had to search for pictures and sentences and then put them into the correct places on a Stonehenge Mat. They worked really well in groups and enjoyed finding the hidden clues.
Pupils in Apollo class have been using Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie as a stimulus for their English work this half term. They have imaginatively written fantasy stories about an island called Apollo Knights and then read their creations to the group.
Each morning pupils in Discovery Class have time to choose activities to develop their communication skills and fine motor skills.
