This week Year One have been working very hard on their additions. We were able to use tens frames to help us add by making 10 first. Everyone worked extremely hard and produced some brilliant work. Well done Year One!

The GiFT and CARITAS Team volunteers very kindly prepared cards with the Christmas mass times in for our parish. Each child in school was given a card to pass to a friend, a neighbour or to keep for their own family.
Year 4 have been looking at the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. This has linked their English lessons with this terms Ancient Greek topic. All the children have worked really hard so far and have enjoyed learning this story.
At SJF this week we have had three football competitions held over two days. We have been allowed to use the fantastic facilities at The Cliff Training Ground which is the former training ground of Manchester United. In recent times, Napoli and Bristol City have used the facilities to prepare for their games against Manchester City.
